Location: Hinchingbrooke Country Park, Huntingdon
Time: 10:30am - 12:30pm
Description: Learn how to identify the rare Black Poplar so that we can set up a Black Poplar dating database! Black poplar's are one of this country's rarest and most majestic trees. Learn more about them and how to identify them. Participants will be expected to/have the chance to help us with the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Black Poplar Survey.

Paradise to Byrons Pool - A lyrical tour!

Event: Paradise to Byrons Pool - A lyrical tour!

Description: After two very successful collaborations between Iain Webb and Allan Brigham, a Blue Badge Guide, they are arranging a walk from Paradise Local Nature Reserve along the river to Byrons Pool Local Nature Reserve. Opportunities to see kingfisher and spring flowers along this important wildlife corridor.

Location: Wheatcases Barn, Grantchester Road. Half a mile south of Coton.
Time: 7:45pm to 9:00pm
Description: Bat Walk. Want to find out about some of the more elusive visitors to the reserve? Then join us for an evening's walk looking and listening for bats with a local specialist. Bring a torch, warm clothing and stout footwear.

Location: Meet at the entrance to the Nature Reserve at Stonebridge Lane car park (limited spaces). Parking is also available in Fulbourn. Minibuses will return walkers to the car park.

Description: A combined archaeology and nature conservation guided walk with Naomi Brookes of the Cambridge Green Belt Project and Sarah Poppy from the Cmbridgeshire Archaeology Field Unit along the dyke from Fulbourn to the A11.

Description: This route along the River Cam and out of the north of Cambridge is a popular Sunday walk. But how many people have seen one of the rarest species of tree in Britain, the Black Poplar, seen the largest bat in Britain, the Noctule, and know where to look for the nationally scarce and elusive Musk Beetle? Iain Webb will be revealing the whereabouts of these species and many more during this walk.
